Luke and I recently returned from the most amazing two weeks in Japan! While I organize my thoughts and sift through hundreds upon hundreds of photos, I wanted to share some of my absolute favorite snaps from our visit to Shibuya Sky. Located atop the Shibuya Scramble Square Tower, Shibuya Sky is an open-air observation deck with 360 degree views of Tokyo. She sits real high at 751 feet in the sky. The observation deck has plenty of space to walk around and plenty of space to sit down as well. Between the steps, resting nets and turf deck, there’s plenty of space to take a break if you spent the first part of the walking 14 miles around the city like we did! Tokyo is the largest city in the world and being able to take in every inch of the city with un-obstructed views as far as the eye can see is pretty dang magical. The city is bustling, yet the views make it feel so peaceful. We even got to catch a glimpse of Mt. Fuji because it was a super clear day! Shibuya Sky is really something special and I can’t recommend a visit enough. The entry fee was 2,200 yen (~ $14 USD) so it’s quite an affordable activity.
