the dress…

I went into my first appointment at the bridal boutique this past Saturday with a clear idea that I wanted a very simple, flowy/beachy dress. I was dead set on having it that I was so close to clicking the purchase button on one I found online. Well, I tried one on and didn’t like it. At all. Luckily, we had an amazing bridal consultant that picked up on my personal style and brought in a few dresses to just try out. Low and behold, she brought in THE dress. It’s the dress that I tried on three different times during my appointment. She kept coming up with more ways to make it more awesome… Add these dangly earrings, add this accessory… And that was it. And rather quick too.

I thought I had a pretty good idea of what kind of dress I wanted going into our appointment, but I ended up absolutely loving a dress that I never thought I would pick out for myself. It’s not only just a wedding dress, it’s the dream wedding dress. When I picture myself as a bride, this is the dress I picture myself in. I’d share a picture with you all, but Luke reads my blog, so it’ll remain a secret.

Not the actual dress, but one that I absolutely loved, too.
